1-2-3 bottom boxes are also known as snap lock boxes. These boxes may need more time to assemble but are more secure than tuck-end boxes. Bottom flaps are interlocked with each other for closure. An option is available for an additional flap at the bottom to achieve more strength from the bottom.

1-2-3-bottom boxes are also called snap lock boxes, where the bottom of the box is divided into three flaps or folds, and the box takes its constructed position or shape once these flaps are locked in together. The bottom flaps' side frames are designed so that once they are interlocked, they give the boxes a completely secure and closed bottom tray that is safe and capable of holding the weight of the respective product that is to be packaged inside of the box. Similar to a jigsaw puzzle where the pieces lock into each other to form a completely assembled picture or shape.
The durability and strength of these boxes are greater than tuck bottom boxes, but they are a little less strong than an auto-locked bottom box. The manufacturing cost of snap lock boxes is much less than auto lock boxes and tuck bottom boxes. The interlocked bottom flaps of these boxes give full support to the extended top flap to tuck it firmly into its place.
The first step is to open the box traditionally by placing the bottom side up. Then, there are four separate flaps on the underside of the package. One of these flaps is the biggest; fold it down so that its cut-out is in the middle of the bottom of the box. It should have two straight sides. Afterward, fold the two side flaps and insert their edges into the slit you made in the first flap. Because of this, they will be more securely fastened. Lock the bottom together by folding the remaining flap upward and tucking it behind the other folded flaps.
We always send the order to the production department after final customer approval. You cannot cancel your order if the boxes have been sent to the production house. In any case, you have only 4 hours after proof approval to rescind the purchase. We will charge $25 plus 5% of your total payment for canceling this purchase. Also, we charge 50% of the order's total cost if a client cancels it after 24 hours. This is to compensate the company for its time and resources. However, remember that the business does not always guarantee cancellation requests after passing the 24-hour limit.
The folding bottom boxes may feature a cut-out or knockout, an opening in the paperboard that reveals the product inside. We make this cut-out using a die-cut machine. Most custom boxes can have a window cut into them. Our library includes a few pre-made cut-out boxes that you can modify to suit your needs. And you can also make your exclusive cut-out designs to take your business to enjoy the maximum advantage of its potential. Our design staff can assist you in tailoring any box style to your needs. So, discuss your brand requirements and product need with us to help you.
These boxes offer great flexibility in terms of design. But there are certain limitations also, that you must consider. One of the major design barriers is the shape and size of the item that you wish to package. It is crucial to consider the weight and dimensions of your goods when designing the box. This step ensures that they will fit properly. Further, it is critical to consider any additional accessories or features that you may wish to include in your custom design. These can be handles or inserts. Thus, work with us as we properly integrate them into the design of the box.
We use a variety of materials to make these boxes. Each of them has unique properties. We offer cardboard material for the construction of these boxes. It is durable and offers a great shield for products during shipping. Paperboard is another material that we use commonly. It is sturdier and thicker than regular paper. This feature makes it suitable for packaging heavier products. It is also customizable with various designs and finishes. Further, Kraft paper is a sustainable and natural material that is ideal for green packaging. It is strong and biodegradable. This factor makes it an amazing choice for brands that prioritize safer packaging.
